Terms of Service
Rural Leaf Cannabis Last updated: November 7, 2026
Welcome to Rural Leaf. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") apply when you use our website ruralleaf.ca, our online menu and ordering site shop.ruralleaf.ca, and our internal staff application RuralLeafOS at app.ruralleaf.ca (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
"Rural Leaf", "we", "us" and "our" mean Rural Leaf Cannabis (Rural Leaf Cannabis Ltd) and its affiliated licensed stores in British Columbia.
1. You must be 19 or older
You must be at least 19 years old to use our websites, place an order, enter our stores or pick up or receive cannabis or cannabis accessories. By using the Services you confirm that you are 19 or older. We check valid government-issued photo ID in store, at pickup and on delivery, and we will refuse service to anyone who cannot show it.
2. Who we are
Rural Leaf operates non-medical cannabis retail stores licensed by British Columbia's Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB). All cannabis we sell is purchased through the BC Liquor Distribution Branch and comes from producers licensed by Health Canada. We sell only to customers in British Columbia.
3. Online orders
How ordering works. The online menu at shop.ruralleaf.ca lets you choose products and a store for in-store pickup [or delivery]. When you submit an order, you are offering to buy those products. We accept your order when we confirm it by email or text. If payment is taken at pickup: Online orders are reservations. Payment is made in store when you pick up.
Your order confirmation. We will send you a confirmation of your order with our business name and contact details, the products, prices, taxes, any fees, and the pickup or delivery date and time, as BC consumer protection law requires.
Availability. Products are subject to availability at the store you choose. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you and offer a substitute, a partial order or cancellation. You never pay for an item you do not receive.
Pickup. Please collect your order during the pickup window shown in your confirmation. The person picking up must be the person named on the order, must be 19 or older and must show valid photo ID. Unclaimed orders are cancelled at closing time on the day after the pickup date, and the products are returned to stock.
Delivery We deliver only within the areas and hours shown at checkout, using our own employees, as BC rules require. Someone 19 or older must receive the order and show valid photo ID. We cannot leave cannabis unattended or hand it to anyone who appears to be under 19 or intoxicated. If no one eligible is available, the order returns to the store.
Cancelling. You can cancel an order at any time before you pick it up or before it leaves for delivery by contacting the store. If you have already paid, we refund you in full within 15 days. You also have any cancellation rights given to you under BC's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act.
We may cancel an order if we cannot confirm your age or identity, if the order exceeds the legal limit, if we suspect the products are being bought for someone under 19 or for resale, or if a pricing or listing error occurred (section 5). We will tell you and refund anything you paid.
4. Legal limits and responsible use
Purchase limit. BC law limits each transaction to 30 grams of dried cannabis, or its equivalent in other forms. Our online menu and our stores enforce this limit.
Not for resale or for minors. Products are for your own personal use. You may not resell cannabis or give or sell it to anyone under 19.
Refusal of service. Our staff will refuse a sale to anyone who appears to be intoxicated, who cannot show valid ID, or whom they reasonably believe is buying for a minor.
Know the rules. You are responsible for following the laws on where you may possess, carry and use cannabis, including public possession limits and the ban on consuming cannabis in vehicles. Never drive while impaired.
Health and safety. Cannabis has health risks. Read the product label and the Health Canada warnings on every package. Keep cannabis away from children and pets. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a medical condition, talk to a health care professional before use.
5. Products, prices and information
Product information. Product descriptions, potency (THC and CBD), images and other details come from the licensed producers and the BC Liquor Distribution Branch. Potency is shown as a range or as printed on the package and can vary by batch. Images are for illustration. The package you receive is the authoritative label. We do not make health or medical claims about any product.
Prices. Prices are in Canadian dollars and can differ between our stores. Applicable taxes, and any bottle or container deposits, are added at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already confirmed, except as set out in item 3.
Errors. We work to keep our menu accurate, but mistakes can happen. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price or with wrong information, we will tell you before completing the sale and you may choose to cancel. We will not charge you more than the price in your confirmation without your agreement.
Discounts and promotions are subject to the rules shown with them and to the limits on cannabis promotion under federal and BC law. We do not offer loyalty points or rewards for cannabis purchases.
6. Payment
If online payment is live: Online payments are processed securely by our payment processor. Rural Leaf never sees or stores your full card number. In store, we accept the payment methods shown at each location. You must use a payment method you are authorized to use. See our Privacy Policy for how payment information is handled.
7. Returns, exchanges and recalls
Cannabis. Because of the rules that govern cannabis, we cannot accept cannabis returns for resale. If a cannabis product is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, bring it (with its packaging and your receipt) to the store where you bought it within 7 days, and we will replace it or refund you.
Accessories. Unused accessories in their original packaging can be returned with a receipt within 14 days for a refund or exchange. Defective accessories are covered by the manufacturer's warranty and by your rights under BC law.
Recalls. If Health Canada or a producer recalls a product you bought, we will follow the recall instructions and, where we can, contact you. Recalled products can be returned to any of our stores for a refund.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under BC's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act, the Sale of Goods Act or other consumer protection law.
8. Your account and acceptable use
If you create an account on our online menu, keep your sign-in details private, keep your information accurate, and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account. When you use the Services you agree not to:
break any law, or use the Services for anyone under 19;

We work to keep the Services available and accurate, but we cannot promise they will always be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Services, for example for maintenance or to comply with the law.
13. Our responsibility to you
To the extent the law allows, Rural Leaf is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost data) arising from your use of the Services, or for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If we are liable to you for an online order, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under BC consumer protection law.
14. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
If you have a concern, please contact us first (section 16). We will try to resolve it quickly and fairly. If we cannot, you may bring your claim in the courts of British Columbia or, where it has jurisdiction, the Civil Resolution Tribunal. Nothing in these Terms requires you to use arbitration, waives your right to join a class action, or prevents you from contacting Consumer Protection BC or any other regulator.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when laws or our services change. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, give notice on our website or by email before they take effect. Changes apply only from the date they take effect. They never apply to an order we have already confirmed, and we will not use a change to reduce your rights on cancellations, returns, exchanges or refunds for an earlier purchase.
